... In June there was a great advance for Australian Wagnerites: Melba Recordings' excellent Die Walküre, taken from the State Opera of South Australia's Ring performances in Adelaide in late 2004. The three other operas are to follow ... [so here] we are with an Austalian Ring at last being forged on CD, which is no small achievement ...
