The State Opera of South Australia was able to produce on its own steam the first full cycle of the Ring at the end of 2004. It gave 3 full cycles within 3 weeks, quite an achievement!
There are some good castings of the secondary roles, especially Kate Ladner’s Freia, as well as Donner, Woglinde and Erda. John Bröcheler was a stylish Wotan ... as was John Wegner’s Alberich.
